Elk Ridge cabin with great views near Yellowstone

Beds were comfortable kitchen was equipped shower was warm views were remarkable. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Vicky’s cabin! The weather wasn’t what we had hoped it would be, but regardless, it was a relaxing stay filled with great memories. The cabin was clean, tidy, well cared for and so so cozy. Our toddler loved watching the mule deer graze right outside the window. this cabin really was a perfect base camp for our adventures and we hope to stay here again.

We had a great stay at Elk Ridge Cabin! I was a little concerned from looking at Google maps that it wouldn't be as secluded as we hoped it would be, but it definitely still felt very private and secluded despite there being other houses/cabins in the general vicinity. Check in was so simple (which is usually a pain point with Airbnbs, but not this time!). I especially loved the spotting scope we used to look at both elk and mule deer out the window, the fire place, and the CD player with a John Denver CD.

We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was warm and cozy, we felt so comfortable with our surroundings. We appreciated how clean everything was. Also loved seeing wildlife within feet of the cabin, and the beautiful mountains all around us! Looking forward to the next time we come to Livingston Montana and will definitely book with our Host again.

Beautiful cabin with amazing views, cozy, spotless, and the fireplace made it feel especially relaxing. The hosts were incredibly friendly and exceptionally responsive. I even left something behind after checkout, and they immediately responded and arranged a convenient way to return it. Truly a wonderful stay!

A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Two mineral hot springs close by and yummy food. Highly recommend for a getaway.

I had such a wonderful stay here. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and perfectly tucked away in the mountains. My favorite part of the trip was cooking in the lovely kitchen and then enjoying my meal out on the porch, rocking in the chair with a cup of tea while taking in the peaceful views. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. I’d absolutely stay here again!

This is the second time at this amazing location— and I mean AMAZING!! The views are stunning, the privacy is everything we wanted and more—- the house is super cozy and filled with beautiful artwork, great spices, tea, coffee, music, TV, comfy couch, lots of dishes and cooking supplies—- I loved having basic condiments in the fridge, that way we didn’t need to buy things like mustard and ketchup, mayo, salad dressings or pickles! And peanut butter!! Add a nice dinner table to eat at as we stared out the windows!! We had deer wandering the property every day (a small herd would walk over the hill and return to their evening resting place)— she leaves treats for the guests, and extra bird food for the birds! This house was the third we had stayed in on the trip, absolutely the best put together and most welcoming— the best supplied and the most comfy— (and this includes a house we’ve stayed at 5 times now, and this was surpassed that one!! Altogether a wonderful experience!!

The sweetest little cabin in beautiful paradise valley. We loved how secluded we felt even with the wide open views in every direction. Deer everywhere and we loved watching them through the scope!

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin. The surrounding area is so peaceful, and we saw plenty of deer and birds right on/around the property. Great access point for our days in Yellowstone, and close enough to Livingston and Gardiner that we always had whatever we needed. The views are even better in person. Loved this place and highly recommend!

We only stayed one night but the place was cozy and comfortable. We had arrived in a storm late at night so we couldn't see very much but we woke up to the most incredible surroundings in the morning.

We had a great 2 night stay here and wish we would’ve booked for longer! Incredibly easy drive to Yellowstone, Billings, and Bozeman. Beautiful 360 views of the mountains. Great cozy cabin with everything you need!

We loved this cabin so much! The views and the morning coffee sessions were among our favorites! Bed and pillows were amazing and the sofa sleeper was actually not bad! The tap water was so good! And we even Door Dashed groceries from Albertsons when we got in!

One of our top favorite Airbnb stays. Location was heavenly. Bed was comfortable, kitchen fully stocked with the essentials. Bathroom was well supplied with nice towels. We arrived an hour after 3pm check in and the house was still being cleaned, but that was the only hiccup. Host was quick to respond to messages and had clear instructions for getting there, local recommendations and updates on local burn bans. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful cabin, loved the birds and deer, having coffee on the front porch and the mountains all around, very comfortable, no traffic noises or planes flying overhead, might have seen one. We did have to leave early cause one of our pups was sick, we did lose him sadly. Thank you so much, we had to leave in a hurry, so hopefully everything was good.

I'm so glad I booked this cabin in Paradise Valley. It completely exceeded my expectations. My husband and I felt peaceful, serene, and relaxed here, and we even hesitated to leave for Yellowstone Park every day. I look forward to coming back next time.

Linger This is the word to describe Vicky’s cabin. We should have stayed a few extra days just lingering on the porch. Probably one of my favorite Airbnb stays for the vast valley views and silence that only includes sounds of breeze in birch leaves and song birds.

We booked this place last minute to enjoy a concert at Old Saloon. We wish we had more time to enjoy the property because the views and the ability to enjoy outside with the mountains were complete serenity! It was a perfectly comfortable cabin with our dog and we cannot wait to be here again!

The cabin met all our expectations. Communication with the host was excellent. The view from the property was the most exquisite feature.

The pictures did not disappoint regarding the mountainous views. We actually felt more pictures which show how spectacular it really is. There are lots of kitchen utensils to use. Very private and peaceful. Beautiful furniture on the porch and on the side to be able to dine outside. They really do have everything you need since you’re further out. Clean fireplace. Beds are comfy. Lots of board games. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was wonderful. Views from every window were wonderful. Sitting on the front porch looking at the mountains while having our breakfast was a real treat. The cabin was beautifully decorated. comfortable and welcoming. It met our expectations and we hope to stay again in the future.

Nice place

Place was very clean and had everything we needed. It was the most peaceful place we have stayed at yet. The Stars at night were amazing. We have personally never seen a Magpie until our visit to Elk Ridge it is one incredibly beautiful bird. All worth the price of admission. Thank you Vicky Melissa and Steve. Well done.🙏❤️

We especially enjoyed the view and the solitude. We saw mule deer around the house and a double rainbow after a rain storm went by Everything met our expectations.

We can only say what has been stated and written numerous times. What a breathtaking place to stay. The views were incredible and the cabin was top notch. Vicky and Steve were so friendly and responsive with any needs. So many extras and amenities that made us feel like it was our own. Wide open space but several towns nearby for dinner or drinks if you don’t want to eat at the cabin. Yellowstone is just a short drive away. We would definitely stay there again. Very cozy.

Vicky and Melissa's place was BEAUTIFUL and private. We had a wonderful time walking in the mountain scenery and were able to have a barbeque dinner--they even provided firestarters! It was a bit too far to feasibly go to Yellowstone every day (which had been our plan) but we loved the place so much we had no problems staying in the last day and just enjoying the home!

Each year I book myself a night away someplace beautiful for my mothers day gift. The peace and quiet to just rest and recharge is something I really look forward to. This little slice of heaven did not disappoint! It was so much better than advertised and truly a special place. Only 18 minutes from Chico hot springs, I soaked in the healing waters and then soaked in the stunning views from this property. Looking forward to staying again inthe future!

Do yourself a favour and book this cabin immediately! We stayed 3 nights and didn’t want to leave. If you’re after peace and quiet with no neighbours and spectacular views then this cabin is for you. It’s just over an hour drive to Yellowstone north entrance with Elk and Deer sightings along the way and outside the cabin if you’re lucky. We stayed in May and had many Mule and White Tailed Deer around our cabin, it was magical! Super clean cabin and the hosts have thought of everything - even had condiments/snacks and a spotting scope to view animals from the cabin porch! Thank you guys for being super hosts and sharing your property with us!

Beautiful, beautiful place. The pictures can’t begin to describe how incredible this place is. You feel completely secluded and we saw at least 40 deer come right up to the window while we were there.

A Slice of Montana Heaven Our recent stay in a cabin in Pray, Montana, was nothing short of magical. This quaint location is truly a hidden gem, and the beauty that surrounds it is simply breathtaking. I can honestly say it's one of the most stunning places I've ever had the pleasure of staying. Imagine waking up to a full 360-degree panorama of majestic mountains – it's an experience that photos simply can't capture. The cabin itself was equally charming, perfectly accommodating our needs and comfortably housing what I imagine could be up to four people. It provided a cozy and welcoming retreat after long days of travel. This cabin proved to be the ideal stop on our road trip, a welcome oasis of tranquility between the rugged beauty of the Badlands and the grandeur of the Tetons. It offered a much-needed respite and allowed us to truly soak in the natural beauty of Montana.

The Elk Ridge cabin was awesome! Beautiful location in Paradise Valley! The neighborhood was quiet with friendly neighbors. We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was peaceful and cozy. We loved that it was somewhat secluded and offered privacy. There were a lot of outdoor areas to hang out and the fire pit was a fun place to relax at at night.

This little cabin is perfection in a beautiful valley with 360* views. The photos don’t do it justice in my opinion! The decor is perfect for the aesthetic and everything was so clean and inviting. Vicky was very helpful and friendly. I wish we could have stayed much longer.

We have stayed in 50+ Airbnb and this is among our top five. The beautiful location was expected, having been to Paradise Valley several times, but the cabin was beyond our expectations, especially considering the low cost per night. Anything we could possibly want was provided, including my wife's request for decaf coffee. Cabin is so cozy and very toasty considering it was minus 12 out one night. Gas fireplace added to the ambiance. Bedroom snug and warm, kitchen a little small but certainly adequate and plenty of supplies available. Overall an excellent visit. 30 plus minutes to Yellowstone Park and another 45 to get into the famous Lamar Valley. Thanks Vicky for everything and hope to return. Wonderful stay, comfortable for two, perfect location and set up in a thoughtful and very attentive way.

Perfect for my needs. Warm and comfortable, thoughtfully equipped, and peaceful with stunning views. I went to one local restaurant (The Old Saloon - good food, local color, questionable decor) and drove up to the Park once. Otherwise I just hung out, with a pile of books, and enjoyed the peace and quiet and inspiring landscape. You know, as soon as you walk in, that this place has been loved, and you come to love it in return. Now that I’ve experienced it in winter, I’m determined to return to see what it’s like in summer.

We as 63yr old newlyweds ,love the snow!We celebrated my birthday watching it snow as we took our morning walk. This place was just what we needed and loved. We will be back !! The people who live in this valley are so blessed.

Vicky's cabin is absolutely phenomenal! The pictures don't do it justice. There was a ton to do nearby or the cabin was nice and cozy for a night in. We cooked in tbr well-equipped kitchen and had a great experience at the cabin. I would highly recommend for anyone coming to the area.

So many positives about Vicky’s cabin! A beautiful location, to begin with. Stunning views. Great porch to sit on and enjoy the weather and mountains. Perfect location to explore Livingston, Bozeman, and Yellowstone. The cabin itself is the epitome of cozy and welcoming. It has everything you need for either a short or extended stay—no need to go out for a meal every night. Super clean. Being able to drive a couple of hours to explore Yellowstone National Park was perfect (I advise leaving around two hours before sunrise and going to Lamar Valley if you want to see wildlife). The geography of Paradise Valley and YNP has to be experienced firsthand. 5 stars+. Thank you Vicky for hosting us!

Great cozy little spot with amazing views!

Gorgeous spot. Scenery. Privacy. Wildlife. Wonderful retreat on the way to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.

We loved this little slice of heaven! We loved the rustic cabin feel. We enjoyed making a fire in the outside fire pit and enjoyed sitting in the wooden seats on the side of the cabin taking in the beautiful scenery and watching wildlife. We loved that the cabin was on a dirt road surrounded by farms, beautiful fields, farm animals, and mountain view’s. We were about a 15 minute drive to a bunch of restaurants in Livingston and about a 20 minute drive to Chico Hot Springs. We really enjoyed our stay! Vicky was a wonderful host! She made us feel right at home.

This is our second stay at Vicky’s Elk Ridge Cabin. It is absolutely perfect for a couples getaway and being dog friendly we are able to bring our 2 labs along and they love it too. It is an easy drive to the North entrance of Yellowstone at Gardiner Montana and we have never had to wait in line to get in to the park! Our favorite spot is on the covered porch watching the birds and deer in the yard! I highly recommend Vicky’s cabin!!!

All the reviews talk of the beauty of the surroundings from Vicky's cabin but you won't appreciate it until you visit. On a hill in Paradise Valley the setting is majestic. The house is in a community of lovely homes each on large properties so you have your privacy but still have neighbors. At the bottom of the hill is the beautiful Yellowstone River. A great place to fish, boat or lounge in the waters. The house is beyond charming and also very efficient and comfortable. The kitchen is complete with all a cook's needs and a great place to cook. My first thought when arriving was how could I change my plans to extend my stay. Thank you Vicky for sharing this beautiful place with us !

Very relaxing. exactly what we were looking for. It is a bit of a drive to get anywhere so I suggest picking up groceries on your way there. Great communication and the prairie dog "neighbors" were a treat!

Wow wow wow! Amazing I bought this trip as a Christmas present for my fiancé and we are beyond pleased! There was so many choices around Yellowstone it was very hard to decide where to stay. I picked Elk ridge because it’s location from the airport and Yellowstone and it was perfect. Livingston is beautiful and very convenient . Restaurant were phenomenal. The first place we ate and I highly recommend was only a mile away from the cabin Yellowstone valley lodge. The cabin was pristine and gorgeous. Vicky was a wonderful hostess and it was extremely easy to check in and out! Deer were everywhere and it was extremely quiet and peaceful. The cabin had everything we could possibly need plus more! I honestly can’t say enough about this slice of heaven we were so blessed to visit! Thank you again Vicky for everything! We also highly recommend Obsidian Tours if your looking for a guide of Yellowstone !

Our stay here was great! Great location to relax and unwind yet close enough to find things to see and do. Cabin was perfect and had everything to just show up and stay. We enjoyed the local wildlife and were able to watch deer everyday right outside the front door! We can't wait to hopefully go back again in the future!

Beautiful spot! So peaceful and the views are amazing. Cabin was cozy and comfortable for 3 people. Vicky was so responsive and even helped us out late at night when we couldn’t get the tv to work. Definitely recommend this cabin!!

A totally beautiful and gorgeous place to stay and plan on coming back at least once a year now. My husband and I stayed here a whole week for our honeymoon and the Montana winter views were amazing. The photos do not do enough justice for the surrounding mountains! The cabin was nice and private and provided a nice peaceful and quiet space. It was really cozy and homey feeling that included lots of nice rustic decor. The cabin also had a lot of complimentary items {sugar, coffee, snacks, etc.}. We even got to see giant deer & elk herds, foxes, and magpies around us daily/nightly along with other wonderful wildlife. Vicky was extremely friendly and responsive through our entire stay. She checked in oand made sure our stay was comfortable and provided local recommendations. She even helped us find local taxis/shuttles when we wrecked our rental vehicle and were stranded in the middle of the night! I never write reviews for anything, but I honestly and 100% truly recommend Vicky's cabin.

This cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway. My fiance and I loved the views and the fireplace. It was clean and had a lot of things you could need, like pots and pans, spices, and games. We would highly recommend going outside when it is dark and looking up at the stars, it is beautiful!

Vicky was a wonderful host. Her property was as described, she gave detailed instructions to her property. The cabin was cozy. We felt right at home. The cabin was clean and well stocked. All instructions were clearly written and easily accessible. Thank you for the great stay Vicky.

We had a wonderfully calm and relaxing 30th anniversary. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet, a great place to get away from it all, and still close to YS, Livingston, and Bozeman to do any other site-seeing you may want to do. The Elk Ridge cabin was extremely clean and had everything you could need; loved the fireplace for relaxing at night. We had a last minute issue with needing to take my mother's dog due to an emergency surgery and Vicky was quick to respond and very helpful. Thank you Vicky for such a lovely place and greatly appreciate all the little extras (snacks, keepsake picture, helpful advice with instructions on using any of the gadgets and advice on things to see). We will most definitely be coming back again.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Elk Ridge. The cabin was squeaky clean, decorated so festive for the holidays, cozy and super easy to use gas fireplace that really added to the ambiance of the cabin. Close enough to the north entrance of YNP to do day trips and close enough to Livingston and Bozeman for shopping. We definitely will come back again. Thank you Vicky for sharing your family home!!

We really enjoyed our few days at this cabin. The location is great to get away and take it all in. Great place to stay for checking out Yellowstone and other surrounding areas. Definitely grocery shop before you get to the cabin. We had some trouble with the newer wall heaters that were put in recently. Maybe user error, but it took a long time for the cabin to warm up. The main ac/heater only works when it's above freezing but we never had much luck with heat. We were able to enjoy the free coffee to warm ourselves up and super easy to use fireplace. That was great. I will say the location and views are wonderful. From the living room there is only one side window that gives you a partial view. If you want the full view, you will need to go outside. Having Dish network was awesome for a cabin day! We were ablw to watch lots of movies and relax. We had a great time at this cabin. We definitely recommended it, just watch your toes around the tree trunk bed frame!
