Chico Peak cabin-Mtn views near Chico and YNP

This was my 3rd time staying at Vicky’s place in a year and each time it is perfect! She is quick to respond if anything arises. This is my go to place and look forward to my next vacation out there!

Vicky is an incredible host! She always leaves you a treat when you check in, is thoughtful, attentive, and really takes care of you! A home away from home!

Fantastic host! Even came and checked on us leaving when snow started falling heavy and last minute extended our stay so we didn’t have to drive in it. Cabin has an amazing view - perfect getaway for a couple.

This was our first time staying at Vicky’s place, and it was well worth it!! I was looking to book something last minute for a nice weekend getaway, and was thrilled to find this little gem available! I booked with ease, Vicky was very responsive with answering questions and communication in general! I can’t say enough great things about this little place. The location is phenomenal and so close to area places. It truly exceeded any expectations we had- and upon arrival for check in, it truly felt like a hidden treasure. If was so nicely equipped, we absolutely loved the nostalgic decorations and feeling in general of the cabin. It was just cozy and so comfortable! It served every one of our needs, it was just the 2 of us( husband and I) definitely a perfect fit for 2 people. We will 100% book another stay , in the near future. Next time a full weekend, or a whole week come spring/ summer time. Can’t wait to come back and stay! Thanks for a relaxing stay! Til next time 💜

Beautiful location. Due to miscommunication, the cleaner hadn’t gotten to the place and we had about an hour wait to get in. Once we did, the place was spotless. Peaceful, great recommendations. Pretty quiet.

I stayed here during a road trip and just after a wonderful day spent In yellowstone park. There were amenities nearby and we were able to cook our supper ourselves. Everything was easy to find inside and lay out was amazing. Since we had arrived after dark, the morning sun showed us the breathtaking view we missed in the backyard. 100% plan to stay again next time I am in the area!

Everything was as described. The view was beautiful. Close to Chico which is what we wanted. After check out we drove through Yellowstone park, in the snow. Saw some animals including a moose (bucket list). Perfect short get away for our anniversary!

The cabin in Montana was exactly what you would expect: great views, a veranda, firepit, BBQ, we all loved it. And the cabin was well equipped with everything you need for a stay. The hosts, Vicky , Gary, and Melissa, were very nice, proactive, and quick to respond to questions, and solving one minor problem. If we ever want to visit Yellowstone again, this is the stay we would choose again♡

This was the perfect spot to cap off the vacation through Yellowstone. My wife and i stayed for 2 nights and it was great. Immediately makes you feel at home with everything you need. Super comfy and clean. We received tons of info about the entire area and shops before we arrived. They have great booklets on the table waiting with even more information from restaurants to the closest vet if needed. I will definitely be returning at some point and want to thank Vicky and Melissa for all the communication.

We loved our stay at the Chico Cabin. Especially the views you have from the garden are spectacular. The place fits the surrounding area perfectly, it gave us a feeling of having our own little home in rural Montana. Also, the drive to Gardiner and into Yellowstone National Park is beautiful. Vicky (and Melissa and Gary) were super kind and thoughtful!

Clean and cozy apartment with everything we needed for a short stay. Excellent communication from the hosts. Comfortable bed and quiet nights for great sleeping. Emigrant General Store, just a short drive away, is run by friendly folks and likely has everything you need for groceries and supplies during your stay.

Positive: Loved the personal touches like books on Montana, location is fantastic and the hosts were extremely accommodating. The location was perfect and the value excellent. Great suggestions for eating and hikes, both of which we took advantage of. Also, little things like having ice trays filled with ice and loaning bear spray. Negative: Nothing, it was great!

If you are looking to explore Yellowstone but don’t want to stay in the heart of tourism, this apartment is the best! Close to the north entrance of the park, a few local restaurants nearby, and not far from Livingston if you want a semi larger town for standard convenience stores. I hope this visit isn’t my last time in Pray Montana and I would definitely book here again.

Had an amazing stay at Vicky's place. From the checkin, to assistance via text, to checkout, everything was seamless. She had COUNTLESS recommendations for around multiple nearby cities, and a plethora of art and books from local areas. There was TONS of supplies in the kitchen which is VERY helpful and appreciated when travelling - make sure to thank your host for these and don't abuse them! Having a fully functional kitchen and supplies let us make our first home cooked meal in over a week while travelling. The bed was comfortable, and had a beautiful patio. I wish we would've stayed longer and not been out of the door by 6am for Yellowstone so we could've enjoyed the property and surrounding area some more. The views are great, and it's so quiet and peaceful. The location is best if you're looking for something peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of resort/tourist towns. If you want to walk to the nearest store, I'd suggest picking something else. Would stay again!

Great place to stay- close to Yellowstone! Had great local restaurants nearby and the hot springs was awesome! Very detail oriented- loved all the local recommendations and loved the snacks for our long hikes in Yellowstone! Highly recommended!!

The check in instructions were a little weird but okay overall - the description of which door was the right door should probably be clearer. Overall my husband loved the “vibe” and we thought it was a good deal.

A beautiful stay nestled near the mountains! Close to the Chico hot springs and Yellowstone. There were some good local restaurants and bakeries with amazing food!

Views are stunning! Definitely a great cozy place to stay after driving for a long time. Would definitely recommend hiking nearby any Pine Creek Falls.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CHICO CABIN! It's cute and comfy, very convenient to Yellowstone via Gardiner, and best of all--the million-dollar view of mountains from the back yard is unbeatable! Arrow Peak, Knowles Peak, Chico Peak, and the massively impressive Emigrant Peak stand like sentinels. We enjoyed exploring the area and relaxing on the back deck. Only regret is that we didn't have a chance to visit the art gallery. Thanks for a wonderful start to our Montana vacation, Vicky!

Cosy cabin Positive: We were made to feel very welcome from the start. kept informed with advice and local information before and during the stay. The cabin is cosy and homely. Thoughtful touches by the hosts such as condiments in the fridge and suggestions for best places to buy groceries. The location is stunning and just a short journey from Bozeman.The cabin facilities are superb with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. Negative: Leaving to continue our trip!

I loved this place!! It was very clean and had everything I needed (she even offered bear spray which I thankfully didn’t need). The view was absolutely stunning! It was a great location. There were close by restaurants that Vicky recommended which were great. The Airbnb was not far from the northern entrance of Yellowstone which was convenient. Vicky was very responsive and gave an amplitude of recommendations which were helpful. I would love to stay here again!

Enjoyed my one night stay, the location is nice and accessible to the river and the few local restaurants. There is quiet and looking forward to coming back and enjoying the patio outside in the summer months. Enjoyed being able to brew a pot of coffee in the morning.

We had an amazing time at Vicky's place. It was very close to Chico Hot Springs which was our main attraction to the area. We found the place very peaceful and cozy. The mountain view out the bedroom door was amazing to wake up with every morning. Vicky communicated the location very well and help answer any questions we had. She was wonderful to interact with and made sure we had everything we needed, though the home had all the amenities needed. Hoping to some day spend some more time there. 10/10 recommend.

We found the location to be quiet and peaceful, and a little on the rustic side. The interior was clean and well-appointed with many extra amenities. The view to the rear of the facility was spectacular!

Vicky and Gary’s place is nestled in a peaceful land, offering breathtaking and relaxing views. My husband and I booked this cabin for our Yellowstone adventures. The cabin had everything we needed to cook our own meals, and we really loved the CD player and the country music we found there. It’s conveniently located just 55 minutes from Bozeman Airport and 45 minutes from the North Yellowstone entrance. For those who love mountain climbing, we recommend visiting Pine Creek Lake—you’re going to love it. We can’t wait to come back soon! 🏞️🌲🏠

The cabin was just as described and made our trip much more enjoyable. It was centrally located to the many places we wanted to visit during our stay there. Materials provided in the cabin and information provided by Vicky helped with additional trip planning. The well stocked kitchen made mealtime much easier and allowed us to prepare most of our meals at the cabin. The cabin was very clean upon check in and was well stocked with linens, blankets, towels etc. I could not be happier with our experience there, if I am ever back in that area again, I would not hesitate to reserve the cabin again.

I really enjoyed the cabin, 30 min from Yellowstone north entrance. The cabin was clean and cozy. The surrounding mountains are beautiful. It was wonderful to see them every day. Town 20 min away w/ a Albertsons. WiFi is fast enough for work from home. 10/10 would stay agin.

Rustic little Airbnb in the mountains of MT near the hot springs, river and gate to Yellowstone. Quiet, cute and clean. Has everything needed for a MT get-away. Our host Vicki was very responsive and accommodating, we will surely ask to stay again on our next venture to the hot springs. Thank you!

Vicky's place felt like a warm loving hug which was better than I even expected. Things were so well kept with country decor that made my daughter and I feel right at home. The spirit of peace and quiet was exactly what we needed for rest from busy schedules. I'd definitely return for the atmosphere of her place along with its close proximity to the hot springs and nature adventuring.

Great place. Great value. Great location. If you’re over 6’2” watch your head on some of the appliances but the cabin has everything you need and Vicky is a very responsive and helpful host.

This space was absolutely perfect for my fiancé and me to get away for the weekend! It was clean, affordable, close to Chico and other restaurants and activities in Emigrant and Livingston, welcoming with snacks with a personalized post card, and stocked with information about nearby sites and restaurants! We also loved that we could bring our dog with us and that the space offered a private outdoor area surrounded by beautiful views! Vicky communicated clear instructions for check in and check out and was very responsive and friendly to messages. We had the chance to meet Gary in person and he was wonderful too! We will definitely be back!
